Out Of Harm's Way

Wish I could keep you from harm, any hurt, ache or pain. Wish I could keep you safe, protect you, out of any trouble, offer you shelter from lifes storms.  Wish I could carry you on my back and make sure no one ever breaks your heart or your spirit. I wish for you love, health, happiness and all that is good for you. My wish then, is my prayer for you now ~

"Sunrise" Chet Atkins

THANK YOU LIFE! For every blessed moment of it, For lessons learned gently or with a crushing blow. Thank you for the beautiful, ugly, painful, joyful. For reminding me to look for goodness, for peace in my heart and in my mind. For much... for reminding me to simplify, live with less, love, be.

¡Feliz Dia de Los Muertos!

Death can be so dark, so painful to let go, to accept the death of a loved one, of people who seem to be taken from life too soon or whose life has simply run it's course. ~ FAITH in something beyond the limits of this magnificent, vulnerable world reach much further than our limited scope reveals. To see the light in the darkness of death means to celebrate the spirits of the dearly departed.  Death takes on a special light, glows happily in celebration of the dead- the flame flickers from candles and dances merrily along, acknowledging and remembering the dead now and the lives they lived, the love that remains and is still part of the living, and taken to heart by those who wish to connect with the dead. From the sorrow surrounding death, the grief and harsh reality of the disconnection, stark and cold, so final and black to looking through the lens of Mexicans who say; "Si!" ♥ ¡Feliz Dia de Los Muertos!!! y Dios nos bendiga a todos, los muertos y los vivos! God Bless us all, the dead and the living. ~

As October winds down, the air is cool and clear, evening approaches, restless to move in. I look forward to seeing the moon tonight, the silver slice of moon waxes across the sky waving at us with that bright sliver of a smile, arching merrily on growing more beautiful and bright everyday until you get so full of the sunlights reflection and begin again to wane and wave a goodbye smile... until you return again and repeat the lovely celestial moon waltz. What a vision, just as eagerly anticipated today as it was since millennia and beyond. As spectacular as it is predictable, as tranquil and comforting as it is phenomenal and fantastic.

...from the sky, from the earth,
 from a scrap of paper,
from a passing shape, from a spider's web....
We must pick out what is good for us
where we can find it.

Moonlit Night

You are so cool, so big and beautiful.
Your light makes me feel good as you shine like crystal, everything seems clean and clear. You cast a bright silver glow on the concrete, even Boxer girl, Sunni Marie with her gold furry back glistens as you cover her with your shiny brilliance. Music sounds better, the air is fresh and you seem to be at the center of it all.
Thank you!
Thank you for blessing me with your radiance still, after all these years.
I simply never get tired of seeing you and reaching out through you to everyone- to emit love and blessings, prayers for peace within everyone and for everyone without it, to far reaching areas in need of light and goodness.
