Happy Birthday!

🌷 Happy Birthday to you, Happy Blessed, Beautiful Birthday to you! 

Since way back when, here now and into the future, Here's to all of it, life, La Vida Loco, precious and fleeting, fast, furious, funky, fun, fantastic, fragile, simple, sweet, mysterious, bountiful, vulnerable, resilient life! It is quite a ride that has included stalling out, overheating, running on empty, the slow drive, switched gears and grind into overdrive. The steep up hills and downs level out eventually as  wrong turns, detours and road blocks backfired into heartache which rolled into healing, minor and major tune-ups that overhauls that result in positive seeds sowed and good trouble incited. To live and age in the name of what is good, healthy and happy with the intention of driving onto smooth paths and gracious horizons creates a safe and sound journey and one that I do not feel completely alone on. 🚘

Equilibrium

 

Things in life seem so much more doable when there is balance. Opposite positions can attract and repel. To give and receive accordingly is a natural order of living in a preoccupied world that forgets how important overall kindness, mutual respect, goodness naturally creates a positive environment.  

To take and keep taking without giving is out of whack, incomplete, incorrect and unequal. There is a simple balance in the natural order of things, it involves fairness, equality and insures equilibrium, an elegant human quality built into the best parts of our souls. It is simple yet lopsided, but truly the way to thrive in a world that is off balance and tilting too much on it's own vulnerable, puny and precious axis. 

Deep Breath

On the tail end of the month in anticipation of a new one the Summer emits it's thick heat, a daily reminder that mother nature is in charge. Take a deep breath as needed to brace ourselves for another fresh month of day's that mark the calendar with reminders for appointments, deadlines and commitments. 

Our lives are guided by time, the seasons and a particular rhythm that blends into day to day goings on. Sometimes the uncertainties can be scary but we plough through with faith and hope in safe, peaceful ways and means to live according to best practices for going about life. Good intentions, compassion and a sense of fair play and decency help to keep our lungs clear of worldly and negative congestion.

So, yes, breathe, keep cool, try to stay calm and collect. Do take a deep breath when the urge to rage out at life's unfairness is too much. The tragic news as well as the triumphs that evoke tears of joy can be overwhelming. The heat, the task at hand and challenge of keeping positive calls for relief from the dark moments to lean into the light, the joy the fresh air drawn from lungs that would rather take calm, cool times and fill your lungs with peace and gratitude and remind you of the simple pleasure of restoring tranquility even if only for the moment.

What It Is

Right now at this moment life takes place even though reality can seem like a dream, 
an illusion perhaps or just the heat getting to me. I wonder about many things. I wonder about the what if's, the how, who, when, why and where of things. I look for answers and also resign myself to the fact that I may not receive answers to questions as some answers are revealed immediately or unfold over time.

In the case of keeping life simple and doable in all it's complexities, chaotic nonsense, glory and awesomeness. It is helpful to somehow stay centered and calm by finding peace within. For me that includes faith, hope and being open to receive blessings and peace while sorting out the mysteries and wonder of life and accept that life is what it is.  ☮️ 💛 

MAY

🌷May life be peaceful inside out. May our thoughts be positive with hope and faith in The Sacred, what is beyond words while front and center. May we be mindful that it is one moment at a time, one breath, heart beat, step, sigh, cry, laugh, prayer day and night. May the realization of our own value and preciousness awaken us by the Grace of God, Holy and Great Spirits. 

North Star ✨

The days and time past lead to the horizon ahead as we travel, hopeful for manageable routes and roads that take us through the journey of exploration and experiences with all things good, with the potential to lift into lighter higher ground or lower into the depths of despair.

We search for peaceful places and smooth trails that welcome weary hearts and souls. Places that take the edge off of life's harshness and handles us with the care and tenderness even the toughest long for but do not know how to obtain. 

Moving forward with so many things to feel good about as the darkness tries to distract us from peace into chaotic directions meant to cause confusion. The pace of our times calls for us to be alert and aware of everything all at once. The information, statistics and data laid bear and available immediately. It can cause disorientation where second guessing what is true might seep in. 

To be cautious and conscientious, to care for and hold onto compassion with high regard is of the utmost importance at a time when love and respect may not be considered as one's North Star yet truly love, respect, kindness and compassion rise as beacons of hope and guiding lights.
