Soul Food

The sound of the leaves rustling in the breeze
A dog barking in the distance or yawning right before or after a nap

The sound of music that is easy to take

The way water blends and makes a silky sound  

The tone of a content person

A car whizzing by a few blocks away in the middle of the night

A car horn honking goodbye 

The way my heart connects to yours

Kind words whether on the giving or receiving       end 

Birds chirping singing their morning prayers as the sun rises

A laugh or giggle,the tone of voice of a happy person 

   

Two shot glasses tinging to a toast

A sweet whisper softly in your ear

The feeling of fullfillment and satisfaction from an accomplishment

The ability to bless and be blessed by another

Aerodynamics

Like a bird on a wire, a plane in the sky, each in flight each living and flying high and low, landing, lifting-off floating weaving in and out of air streams and wind currents in accordance with your own particular design, trajectory and aerodynamics. The ongoing dream to be free to fly, freedom to be true to yourself the one and only among countless others who seem exactly like you but are also their own unique creations.

DREAMS

Dreams i have dreamnt pop into my head like a gentle wave rushing to the shore than just as quickly the image dissolves. How or why I do not know only that it occurs often enough for me to notice and wonder about those particular non descript flashes of dreamscapes, unknown but familiar. The dots often do not connect and the sequence of events are ambiguous and random. Time and space the intangible appearences seem real at once illusionary. The mysterious rhyme and reason of the order or disorder of things on earth, the rhythm and natural movement of the planet itself spinning on it's axis rotating spinning so elegantly in perfect harmony with the other things that exist way beyond our view in distances to far to fathom, reminescent of dreams. 

Walk This Way

The pilgrims walk, crawl, inch and pray their way to the sanctuary wielding faith and hope in everything sacred, holy, powerful and precious. The heartsick seek healing of mind, body and spirit. 

Answers to questions often unfold with every aching step forward as humility rises from the depths of their quest for comfort, solice and peace. Life and death and the preciousness of both cast a different unworldly light far from the burden and limitations of earth and it's vulnerable inhabitants. Our humaness exposes the delicate and miraculous nature of our existence.

Prayer for ourselves or others is transformative through uncertain times as change begins. The slightest effort to help oneself or another be strong in the middle of weakness requires uncompromising courage and resolve to improve that which calls for improvement. From a different perspective to a different approach entirely, change can occur and render something overwhelming into something managebalble. No doubt minds shift as hearts open and glimmers of light seep into the dark.

Miss You Mom

What a good woman. What a great role model, mentor, solid citizen, kind, fun and funny, compassionate, gentle, smart and a blessing to her family. Thank you so much dear Mother. 

I know I tried every drop of patience you had. We loved eachother regardless of the missteps and mistakes. Love wins as the most important matter of the heart it keeps us connected to the core with people who have loved us and who we will always love.

You are right here in my heart and soul, Mama.

We hope for the best for a child, to grow up healthy, happy and learns how take-on life with respect and a good heart and mind. We hope there is someone or many who will be kind, nurture, care for and love them throughout their lives

We celebrate the birth of a child and wish every child in the world could be brought into a peaceful, fair and just place. We pray the day of birth is preceeded by a beautiful silent night.
