Taking in the evening after a long day. Good dog, Buster sit's quietly by my side as we listen to the leaves sway back and forth in the brisk breeze. The night sounds seem different than the way the day sounds. Maybe because everything is not as clear so our other senses like sound and scent become more pronounce.
The rustling leaves move so gracefully and are so comforting to listen to and watch the graceful natural dance. Each branch holds the leaves in perfect harmony as tree trunks stand stoically to facilitate the beautiful movement.
Dogs bark around the corner and someone is testing the maximum volume on their subwoofer down the street. Motorcycles growl and buzz down the boulevard as the aggressive sound of cars drag race toward their next speeding ticket suddenly someone yells something unrecognizable to someone in the distance.
The night feels restless or maybe it's just me as the breeze turns to wind. The energy increases and the air whirls around with more rapid intention to fill the dark skies and air with perfectly orchestrated commotion. It's exciting in a low key way as nature shows it's wondrous ways. All of this from my front porch. Ain't it grand. 💨
