Until Next Year!

Sorry to see you go JULY... see you next year! Thank you for the memories, these past several weeks have been like the 31 flavors of life; taking the good, sad, bad, ugly and amazing and coming out alright.. the long sometimes lonesome road of life unravels like a spindle of ribbon, the surface is smooth as it is scorching hot with rough patches along the way. Life rolls on from bumpy road to smooth as silk. The summer would never be complete without you and your well lit days and lingering nights, so Thank You for coming around. I always look forward to seeing you and can hardly wait to find out how you unfold. Thanks again!
*Remember those flicker rings from the 60s, when you moved them one way you saw one image and if you turned the ring a different way, you would see somehing else. I thought the holy grail of flicker rings was the one shown here.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL!!!

Japan woman winning the World Cup Soccer Game today- after the recent tsunami's that stormed through towns, cities, farms, life... is like The New Orleans Saints winning the Super Bowl five years after Hurricane Katrina wrecked havoc, battered and bruised New Orleans. It is encouraging in such a way that lifts humanity's spirit and lights the darkness.

Sports at it's finest today. The level of athleticism, the intensity and focus as the drama unfolded was as spectacular and exciting as a world class championship sporting match between the best of the best- could ever be. AMAZING!

FIRE ~

Imagine being told you must leave your home, your happy, cozy little corner of the world. It is not optional... Flee, evacuate, everyone, immediately but calmly for your own protection, from the raging fire that only eleven years ago also threatened to envelop a place thousands call home. The elderly, the sick, helpless, the logistics of epic proportion. The furious forces of nature encroach on the nuclear laboratory located in the heart of the hilltop town.

The feel of fire alone is formidable, powerful, unforgiving. The look and smell of it is a serious matter, and calls for safety precautions. With the capacity to create a soft glow from candle light or cook food on the crackling camp fire. Fire is as practical and priceless a resource as it is potentially deadly and destructive.

An enchanting land burns, hearts break, homes and other dwellings burn, charred like match sticks, irreplacables torched, animals perish in the inferno as prayers are lifted up to help control, snuff-out and begin the healing, to somehow soothe the scars on the beautiful, battered and bruised face of dear mother earth.

May The Holy Spirit protect the people, pets, wild life whose lives and existence are in peril. Guide them with the grace of God now and forever. Amen

As The Sun Slowly Sets In The West ☼

The evening from my corner of world is sweet, music is smooth and the breeze is gentle, curtains sway. AHH! Yeh, nice,  the air is clearer tonight, slivers of gold light slice through the trees, birds sound happy and beautiful Boxer girl, Sunni Marie stands watch near by. It is good.
Hope you are good, comfortable, getting ready for something nice, feeling groovy. I hope you are content, that prayers are answered for you, according to your needs, you enjoy more goodness than not. I hope you are feeling good about something, anything or anyone. I pray your aches and pains are not as big as your health and happiness. I can not quite convey how very blessed I am for so many reasons. I pray you, your loved ones, and everyone, the forgotten ones, lost, lonely... somehow find comfort and peace of mind, what we all want and need the most.

God is good. I hold on tight to that. Believing in the divine. It is the best most fulfilling, flavorful, satisfying & refreshing thing to know and count on when nothing or no one else will do. Somebody say; "AMEN"! AMEN! AWOMAN! G'night~!

You Give Me Fever

*Summer, there you are!
We've been wondering if you were going to show-up. Looks and feels like you have arrived even tho' you are not here officially, until the Summer Solstice occurs which is around June 21st., then your hot ways officially end, during the Fall Equinox on September 23rd.

*It is all so perfectly plotted out,  the balance between the light of day and night. Planet Earth shimmy's and shakes, vibrates, miraculously as her massive ball of humanity, life, death, disappointment and delight... orbits around the Sun. To what degree her axis tilts determines how long the dance of the cosmos lasts. The seasonal changes are phenomenal, a cosmic wonder, predictable yet super natural in nature.

*The change of seasons effects all of life, the climate, the environment so precious, powerful, fragile and unforgiving. All in due time the cycles shift, the earth moans and groans about it aches and pains as it takes a beating from it's inhabitants.  The wealth of resources, natural wonders and beauty of the world grows thin and weary as it struggles to keep the balance between nature, beauty, humankind, the negative and positive possibilities surrounding the heart and soul of a planet dying, struggling to survive, to maintain life, to be a good provider and place called home sweet home.

Fun With Words

The Grinch, Green Eggs and Ham, The Cat in The Hat, Thing One & Thing Two, Oh The Places You'll Go, and countless other wild and wonderful story books for kids of all ages from the imagination and pen of one; Theodor Seuss Geisel. Around for generations, the lively children's fables are as timeless, thought provoking and punny as ever...  all the puzzling, poignant adventure slides and glides along the pages. Observations about life's foils and follies, the clever riddles and rhyme. And if that wasn't enough Dr Seuss dresses his stories in vibrant, snappy color to enhance all the tongue twisting fun as the reader pronounces and ponders. Dr Seuss is a one in a million story teller who mixes, bends and shapes words like a child plays with her toys. WORD
