With Love ♥

Dear Humanity,

I hope you are Ok, at least more so than not. You have been through a lot, more than anyone can imagine. You are loved so very loved and cherished in a special way among the twinkling stars and glistening galaxies. Dear and precious Humanity, you are a song of songs, the universe' magnum opus, you are all the astronomical things beyond common description and understanding. The asteroids and quasars, all the nebulas and planets, light and darkness, the void and vastness right here surrounding us revolving around us like a toddler would expect. Oh blessed, bewildered, beautiful people, enjoy the ride, dance, dash and ramble, nip, tuck, duck and roll through the cosmic highway to the best of your ability.

Oh, precious planet, home to humankind so vulnerable, minuscule and marvelous. We share this magnificent, miserable, mysterious, magical marble, we share the heart and soul, the joy and pain. We share air, the sky and the best and worst of ourselves.

We are blessed, burdened, humbled and enriched by one another.
I am part of you, and you are part of me.

Peace to you.
With Love,
mei

Just Do It

Just Do it or Don't do it. To Do List's, the Do's and Don’ts, Do this, that or the other thing. To Do or Not to Do. To be or not to be. You ask a question not expecting a satisfying answer but still you ask; "What's next?" "What do you do, how and when do you know and for whom, where and why exactly?”

There is a risk in remaining true to yourself if you are different, you set yourself up for harsh judgement; just being you presents the chance of misunderstandings mistaken as insignificant, unworthy of respect. One wonders how in the world things happen, are said or done to interfere with appreciating the importance and unique nature of each person. Corrosive factors inhibit the heart from thriving in pure lavish light while the soul continues its quest for simple elegant quiet, peace.  Just Be, I’ll be me while you are busy being you.

It requires extra effort for healthy perspective when what you want to do and where you find yourself, are not in sync. The desire for doing something different and being somewhere else evokes a longing, a restlessness to go beyond the moment, to imagine the possibilities of everything in every second, each experience and spoken or written word drenched with the potential of creating something positive, negative or neutral. Creative juices flow, brainwaves rush to the shore of expression or become dormant, lost in a wasteland of good ideas and inspiring heart-felt thoughts. The capability to encourage one another and fine-tune our own lives,  to cultivate goodness or stunt it is ours.

We do well then to simply; Be, I'll be me, you be you scooby-doobee-super-doobee you, living peacefully ever after ~

A Blessing

It hurts to know there is so much suffering going on in the world, when does it stop, when did people start treating each other so poorly? Children and animals seem to have to absorb much of humanities harshness, of course through no fault of their own. On the one hand you have people who understand the value of life and treat the innocent with respect and kindness. On the other hand you have individuals who themselves were mistreated or who are now enduring abuse, negligence, cruelty.  Consequently the hostility perpetuates. It must matter to send love, prayer, good thoughts to those who have no voice, whose cries go unheard with no one to advocate for them.

Dear God, if all we can do to help the lost and forgotten, is keep the suffering in mind with reverence, then let our spirits connect and comfort who we can. To stop our selfishness when we complain about inconveniences, let us be reminded to be grateful for our own place in the world, where we are comfortable, safe, enjoy freedom, countless resources and things many, only imagine.

To somehow be a blessing to the tiniest soul in the most remote corner of the world to the one's we live with and see regularly. Let us be some one's light in their darkness, comfort in their confusion, joy in their sadness... let us be a blessing with every speck of possibility in peace and with the power and presence of the Holy Spirit ascending upon those most in need of respite and relief.
