Deep Breath

On the tail end of the month in anticipation of a new one the Summer emits it's thick heat, a daily reminder that mother nature is in charge. Take a deep breath as needed to brace ourselves for another fresh month of day's that mark the calendar with reminders for appointments, deadlines and commitments.

Our lives are guided by time, the seasons and a particular rhythm that blends into day to day goings on. Sometimes the uncertainties can be scary but we plough through with faith and hope in safe, peaceful ways and means to live according to best practices for going about life. Good intentions, compassion and a sense of fair play and decency help to keep our lungs clear of worldly and negative congestion.

So, yes, breathe, keep cool, try to stay calm and collect. Do take a deep breath when the urge to rage out at life's unfairness is too much. The tragic news as well as the triumphs that evoke tears of joy can be overwhelming. The heat, the task at hand and challenge of keeping positive calls for relief from the dark moments to lean into the light, the joy the fresh air drawn from lungs that would rather take calm, cool times and fill your lungs with peace and gratitude and remind you of the simple pleasure of restoring tranquility even if only for the moment.

MAY

🌷May life be peaceful inside out. May our thoughts be positive with hope and faith in The Sacred, what is beyond words while front and center. May we be mindful that it is one moment at a time, one breath, heart beat, step, sigh, cry, laugh, prayer day and night. May the realization of our own value and preciousness awaken us by the Grace of God, Holy and Great Spirits.

North Star ✨

The days and time past lead to the horizon ahead as we travel, hopeful for manageable routes and roads that take us through the journey of exploration and experiences with all things good, with the potential to lift into lighter higher ground or lower into the depths of despair.

We search for peaceful places and smooth trails that welcome weary hearts and souls. Places that take the edge off of life's harshness and handles us with the care and tenderness even the toughest long for but do not know how to obtain.

Moving forward with so many things to feel good about as the darkness tries to distract us from peace into chaotic directions meant to cause confusion. The pace of our times calls for us to be alert and aware of everything all at once. The information, statistics and data laid bear and available immediately. It can cause disorientation where second guessing what is true might seep in.

To be cautious and conscientious, to care for and hold onto compassion with high regard is of the utmost importance at a time when love and respect may not be considered as one's North Star yet truly love, respect, kindness and compassion rise as beacons of hope and guiding lights.

Better Life

One more day and many ways to make life better more beautiful for ourselves and others. A peaceful frame of mind is important and a good way to move forward into positive places. The world does not feel so hostile and cruel when I can be calm and lean into the spiritual realm. I am armed with elements beyond the limitations of this earthly plain. Internal peace is tucked away in our hearts and souls and accessible as needed. The trick is to pause and remember inward tools available to get a grip on things that seem slippery, out of balance and unreasonable. The world and the haters in it are part of life's obstacles. Peace, Love, Respect are absolutely the solution to the confusion and chaos that seems out of control as leaders forget how to lead with integrity and honor.

Peace of mind seems easy enough but when stressors pop up and anxiety wants to run amuck it's not so simple to switch gears and pull yourself out of negative frame of mind. To focus on blessings, the things that bring us joy like people who love us, our precious pets and the many resources we have to make life comfortable, well, it's good to recall things that  make us happy. Even better when we can play our blessings forward in prayer, action and intention to make life better. God speed. šŸµ️

Silent Night

A Child is born with a heart of gold but the way of the the world makes his heart turn cold. ~ Song writers: Marice White, Charles, Stepney, Verdine White

We hope for the best for a child, to grow up healthy, happy and learns how take-on life with respect and a good heart and mind. We hope there is someone or many who will be kind, nurture, care for and love them throughout their lives

We celebrate the birth of a child and wish every child in the world could be brought into a peaceful, fair and just place. We pray the day of birth is preceeded by a beautiful silent night.

Still and Quiet

One day or two maybe more sometimes, we live on auto pilot just getting through the days and nights wondering what the next thing is, person, place, experience and will it be good. Thoughts race and become a challenge to slow down the thoughts, questions, second guessing decisions, fretting over anything but being still and quiet in the very moment when things are fine.

To unplug tune-out and quiet the noise of constant mental chatter that is exhausting and interferes with peaceful living. It is worth all-out effort to unload overloaded thinking.  To find peace is one thing, to cultivate peaceful thinking naturally, consistently, is to live freely, unencumbered by unsubstantiated worry and  self-doubt.

Heart & Soul

To say goodbye to someone you have known forever, someone who was a permanent fixture in your life even if there were years you saw each other almost never... it is a time when one reflects on the goodness, the love, respect, admiration and stories about the life that passes on to another realm.  The transition is sad but sacred as faith indicates after life on earth the spirit thrives in a perfectly peaceful place of existence.

The connection transcends time and space as the love is not diminished but remains in tact and in a state of grace, as if the connection is strengthened with the awareness that we now have greater access to the heavenly elements, powerful, unrecognizable to the human eye but felt with the heart and soul, spiritual connections we can not even fathom yet reveal themselves to us by way of abounding quiet and not so quiet blessings.

And so we say our sad goodbyes to prima Marian Romero, good woman, salt of the earth with a big heart and generous nature, funny, sassy and a safe place for me to land when I was bouncing off the wall with youthful exuberance and mom allowed me to hang out with. We were good paleez.

Love you Marian, rest in peace.
