Wrap It Up!

Winding down another month. It has been 31 days worth of surprises, appointments and disappointments, good cheer and tears of joy, sadness, exhilaration and on-going grief. 🐾The surprises come out of no where which is what makes them surprising. The appointments include health check-ups, shared meals and pick-up times for consumable goods. The disappointments transcend into humble lessons in patience and timing at God speed.

We anticipate, look forward to, dread and delight in certain experiences. As the days of our lives unfold, seem to stall out and feel mundane something shifts in a moment, a day, word of something about someone, great news, bad, exciting, compelling. Every single day is part of our travels through life. Every experience propels us to the next thing. It barely happens through each day, the months and years every single moment leads to the next.

Then we look back and ask where does time go as we turn over a new month in the calendar. Here's to wrapping-up another month and making the best of a fresh one.

My Old Friend

πŸ–‹ Bruno de La Roza is like an old friend brought about by the need to publicize my point of view. What the world feels like from my vantage point. Since joining facebook the blog posts have been less frequent. It no doubt stems from the satisfaction I get from a quick comment about a current event or experience, perhaps share a photograph or other image intended to offer a positive jolt, challenge or simply enjoy the image of a full moon or such.

Coming back to post something here and in MarkIpiotis.com as well as MedicineSky.com, is like getting together with an old friend. The type of long standing freind that you can pick-up with where you left off days, weeks, months or years ago.

It is familiar at the same time new things to be discovered. This platform is a sign of the 21st century and part of the information highway. The social media connection is real and ripe for those who want to connect from a distance right to own space and place. Blogging is a fun vehicle to take out and drive, go for a cruise, put in a few miles/words to keep the squeaky wheels greased and in good running condition.

From my heart and head to yours. πŸ’›

Still and Quiet

One day or two maybe more sometimes, we live on auto pilot just getting through the days and nights wondering what the next thing is, person, place, experience and will it be good. Thoughts race and become a challenge to slow down the thoughts, questions, second guessing decisions, fretting over anything but being still and quiet in the very moment when things are fine.

To unplug tune-out and quiet the noise of constant mental chatter that is exhausting and interferes with peaceful living. It is worth all-out effort to unload overloaded thinking.  To find peace is one thing, to cultivate peaceful thinking naturally, consistently, is to live freely, unencumbered by unsubstantiated worry and  self-doubt.

POV

One word, three syllables; PERSPECTIVE, a way of looking at anything. It is a slippery slope, the spins, twists and turns can rattle your cage float your boat and get your goat. Your Point Of View can make or break any given moment, any given experience like the weather effects the day and a chronic physical, mental or spiritual pain clouds your thinking. My view point can piss me off, make me feel uneasy OR at ease and content, pleased to the point of blissful abandon and feel like everything is alright in the world.

What is happening, might happen or has happened is not always clear as to the why's and wherefores, the unfair nature of things, full of unwanted anguish when harsh reality breathes down your neck like an angry open wound OR the particular moment feels right perhaps holy, happy as can be and complete. Attitude accompanies the Point Of View and is worn like a freshly laundered garment, pressed and well taken care of, or scanty, weather beaten and threadbare to the bone. From the beginning, right in the middle or in the end. Each thought whether prayerful, excellent, pleasant, super cool, creative, painful, pathetic, crazy, cold or luke warm, it flows in and out, ergo, our stream of consciousness, which does not necessarily include a Point Of View whatsoever.

One's Point of View is Perception's twin that paints the past, present and future picture. Perhaps this or that is a waste of time and effort, pointless OR seen as magically delicious, delightful, sweet and satisfying. It, Life is largely based on our own design, our own Point Of View while simply thinking, reflecting, meditating, existing. Yes, living, breathing taking it all in one minute, one miserable, magnificent, melancholy, miraculous minute and thought at a time, constant as a heart beat. When we are inclined to size-up a situation, if and how it effects us, good or bad, right or wrong; The Point Of View is determined by times of our lives with swatches of multi-textured fabric that wrap around our unique perspectives, varied and diverse, rich, mysterious and simple as a rain drop, snow flake, falling leave and whisper in the breeze.

Matter In Motion

One season to the next as life moves forward with or without us. We want to stay in the game to propel ourselves into the next thing the next experience love, joy, anticipation, excitation, success, moment of complete peace and quiet.  We step into the seasons ready or not with a sense of familiarity and a sense of uncertainty about what you use to be so certain about.  Life and it's surprises, the disappointments and days you wish would last forever.

All our lives sharing the same vibration, gyration, place in time and space like the stars the moon and all matter in motion or suspended motionless to the deepest darkest void and brilliant quasars and cosmos that in humankinds limited scope, will never completely understand.

The year is draped in seasons, various times unfold with landmark days of the calendar like the time of day determines the events and the world turns in perfect sync with the force of gravity, the earths axis, our relation to other celestial entities and their place in the whole scheme of things in addition to many other factors involved with the whole elaborate waltz of the heavens. What a thrilling ride rocking and rolling through it all the galaxies, the ground and planet we inhabit.. what a rush, a mad marvelous magnificent, mind blowing ride.

We hope we are always welcome on this fragile resilient site and ancient dwelling- home sweet home- Earth. The life she bears cries tears of pain for a suffering humanity and all creatures as well as holy sacred tears of joy, grace, peace, compassion,  Creation from the beginning every second of every hour we are here; I am, you are, all lives and all of life- is a miracle and speaks to the preciousness, importance and purpose of our existence among the stars.

Art

People are so creative, so gifted and capable of making awesome things. When inspiration calls something needs to happen, to evolve out of  a lump of clay, a blank canvas, a tree trunk, block of marble, slab of wood and a blank piece of paper. To craft, cut, bend, melt, mold, chisel, sand, fire, turn, tune, weave, spin, paint, carve, capture an image, dance to the melody, envision a concept, tell a story and sing a song is to express your heart and soul. From fear to faith in the divine, to love, dreams and hopes- idea's are conceived, design, form and sometimes function take shape. The meaning of life through art communicates much.

Music can be heard far into the future, the colors of the world are captured in glass, on a wall and in a building, the statue stands stoically oblivious to the years. The iron bridge suspended in mid-air is as much a work of art as it is a functional structure and engineering feat. Art, in all it's mediums evokes feelings and thoughts to ease your mind and to stir it up. Creation summons art allowing the juices to flow to the place within where there is a reservoir of flavor, rich and full of idea's. It is satisfying, a pleasing experience for both the artist and the one who encounters it.

The world is home to countless artistic genius of all ages from all walks of life, in every direction of the globe.  ☼  It is invaluable for it's therapeutic properties, immeasurable for it's capacity to heal, comfort and inspire. It is stimulating, stark, sad, joyful, exciting, explicit and engaging. The gift to create and recreate, to appreciate the natural and human made brilliance is quite special and feeds our insatiable appetite for more. Art is gracious, comforting, disturbing and a big  part of life.

Miracle's

To witness the birth of a child is to experience a culmination of a lot of lives. From a particular form of life that is shed to another form of existence. A resistance to change occurs then natural resolve to move  forward.

The pain, joy, exhilaration and the miraculous nature of it leaves one speechless, spellbound, and humbled as you hear whispers of mystery and wonder.

So much to consider with much responsibility and care involved. We hope a good future awaits along with health, happiness, good beginnings and possibilities. We hope for strength and courage to take on life's challenges and lessons. Live a good life, learn and share, be blessed and bless others, love and be loved.

Until Then!

See you next year SEPTEMBER- same time, same place. You are so dear to me, with so many birthday's in September among family and friends. Have you ever... for reasons only the depths of your heart and soul understand, felt suddenly compelled to laugh and cry- at the same time? It's a strange mix of emotions, when profound grief and elation strike you. It tugs on your heart strings, flips, tosses, twirls and whirls you around in a matter of seconds and before you even know what hit you; BAM! It's over and you wonder; What just happened?
September is like the last curtain call of the warm days of summer, hot one moment then crispy cold the next. As seasons change so do people, unwillingly, unknowingly, yet change does occur. We roll with the punches, however exuberantly or exhausted, we roll on, one day at a time, one moment, one experience, one heartache, side-splitting-hilarious, important, seemingly insignificant time after the other. That's life... was, is and will be. It matter's so much how we roll insofar as attitude goes. My dark moments seem to encompass a lackluster stream of consciousness while the good moments include positive thoughts as I beckon good vibrations and the presence of the Holy Spirit to find light in an otherwise dreary moment.
* SEPTEMBER, you have been good to me through the years, I hope you can say the same about me.

Here's a little number that I've always been attracted to, it sounds about like I feel right now.
Peace and Love 2U.
