Heart to Heart ❤️

May your heart swell with joy, laughter, love, peace, contentment and may your heart heal when it feels broken, bent or bruised. May you find what you have lost and strength when you are weary and teary. May all of the disappointments transform into new ways to move forward with a different way of looking at things.

May everyday bring you the satisfaction of knowing you did your best

My heart to yours

Onward We Go

One step at a time. How about one thought at a time. To keep ourselves together and usher out the worrisome fretful thoughts fraught with discourse, an unsettlement of thinking that requires attention.

When your brain gets mooshy perhaps due to inactivity, too much sugar, dairy, carbs, meat, the internet or other consumables? Perhaps out of boredom or just looking for something to worry about. I know, I know, lemme just stir-up a problem out of nothing. I will toss my brain and funky thinking read, hard rocks into the blender. Make it a Ninja Blender with industrial strength rpms in an effort to really smash the sh*t out of time-wasting, good for nothing thinking

We share the same wavelength the way the world is wired these days and since the beginning of time no doubt but especially today. A commonality and vibration like the migration and mindset and innate navigational skills of birds and other creatures. A similar thread runs through all of us by virtue of our own assigned species.

We lead and follow each other at any given moment as our perspective is influenced, effected and sometimes infected by news and information on a personal local, state-wide, national and global level. From bizarre goings on in technology and politics plus a government that is losing its vision based on dark motives, to extreme weather and current trends to the way we talk to ourselves. It all works its way into our state of mind. The loco-motion of the times catches up with you and feels like it caves in on you until we reach critical mass. At that point a shift and shedding of negative thinking is required as soon as possible. It is Ok to leak through the eye sockets in fact, recommended to let go of the strain and stress of external stimuli that creates internal turmoil. It is a sad and chaotic place we find ourselves in for a minute but forget at first that we do not need to stay there.

It is not so easy to catch ourselves from falling into negative thinking. We go through growing pains at any age if we want to evolve. It includes hot tears and some sorrowful self-reckoning. The good news is those tears wash and clean the scuffed-up, banged-up and bruised nature of our world for now, as the fears, despair and darkness lurk around in an effort to disturb our peace and joy. It is crossroads, growing opportunity out of obnoxious unreasonable, irrational and illogical scenarios that play out in my head like a bad off-Broadway show. Thankfully, there are simple ways to balance out the imbalance. What we tell ourselves about ourselves plays such a big part of our world view. What I say, think or feel will determine the quality of the moment as it shakes out.  One learns to yell, sweat, walk, talk, pray, love and snuff out the cameo appearances of self-doubt and inter strife. Onward I go like a maniacal Viking whose quest is to conquer unforgiving oppositions and banish the predatory ugly forces of nature and our lives.

We travel like sojourners hoping that the road ahead is smooth without peril or pain, hopeful that our footsteps lead us toward the next blessing whether we are on the giving or receiving end. To keep our thoughts in check within a frame of mind that lends itself to peace requires effort to "stay in my own lane" in my thinking and not caught-up in what was and what might be rather than to simply stay here and now within the realm of reality. It is on me by all means to stay the course, keep calm and hold-on to the goodness in place in real time. After the internal mental ruckus, turns-out Blessings prevail at the beginning and end of the day after all. Onward we go. 🕊

Drive-up Window

It was a brief encounter, it left me feeling sad and hopeful God would bless the kid at the window who took my money and quiet prayers for her peace and comfort. I requested fries and a couple of green chile cheeseburgers. Please do not judge my lunch decision, this story is not about unhealthy food choices.

I drove up to the second window, happy about landing at the correct second window. The girls voice and eyes sounded like a teenager. She repeated my order, I signaled agreeably while feelings of guilt rushed in and out regarding ordering those filthy fries I hate to love. She didn't care what I ordered and waited patiently for me to hand her the money.
As I organized the correct amount and went through the ashtray for the exact change, I asked her, how her day was going. She shook her head "Not good", behind her facemask I saw a smart, soulful, sad, brave, kind individual. I could not help but offer platitudes and blessings. "I am so sorry, hita". fighting back tears, glad she couldn't see me getting choked-up from behind my baby blue bandana facemask and sunglasses. I felt her suffering, but not to the depth I could see in her eyes, from having to put-up with disrespectful people. "You are doing great!". "People are very stressed-out these days. It still is not an excuse to be disrespectful, easier said than done, but try not to take the ill-mannered, rude behavior of others, personally". "Sometimes people confuse kindness for weakness and think it is OK to trample on nice people". "It is not OK, do not acquire a taste for it". She looks at me with what I perceive as, gratitude. As I drive forward, friendly whispers from Heaven say; "God Bless you, hita, stay beautiful".

I cannot adequately describe the bitter sweetness of the moment. With all my heart I lift her up and anyone needing blessings, respect, respite, peace and comfort. Yes, God Bless her, her work and presence at the drive-up window. It was a powerful prayerful exchange, rapid fire, full of goodness, God's Grace, a spiritual thing.

WORD ~

Beautiful, big, broken, bent, bruised, full, swollen, bearing the brunt of whatever it is you are going through, getting over or feeling at any given moment, the heart takes it for the team. Every part of the whole is counting on the heart to beat in time with all matters of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual concerns. The inner chambers driven by strength and goodness as each dashing and dangling moment whether mundane, predictable, triumphant or tragic, the heart beats to the sound of it's own movements.
Beautiful, blue, big, bountiful, bright, overcast, angry, awesome, absent, hazy, dark and obscured the sky covers our lives like a massive dome that never closes even at night as the stars and the heavens sparkle from their places in the universe.
Beautiful, prayerful, mysterious, mind blowing, heart wrenching and heart warming pearls of wisdom found in collections of words. They are dangerous, disgusting and distinguished, meaningful and meaningless. Singular or strung together potentially powerful at once puny, raw, realistic, fantastic, fancy, passionate, painful and priceless. Words from thought to articulation are lovely and hateful, revolutionary and archaic, concise, convoluted and crystal clear. Communication with words that create sentences and dialog can be outdated, timeless, thought provoking and inspiring.

Words are like little puddles that turn into ponds and streams that turn into lakes and rivers and breathtaking oceans filled with every symbol and sound, letter, word, emotion and expression ever expressed. The mighty sea also swallows it's own salty tears with no words to convey what is beyond adequate description. A simple message reveals ignorance, intelligence,  hopelessness and hope. The string of sentences as fine as a fishing line tangle and untangle, constantly changing direction and right on course navigating through the sea of thought, one word at a time.

PEACE

PEACE is a place in our hearts, souls, minds and in the world, it creates change, awareness, strength and stability it thrives in positive environments and seeks to dwell in quiet places. It has the capacity to balance what is uneven and can right a wrong. It longs to keep company with life's light and hastens away if not regarded as important. *It is prayerful and blessed, full of grace supercharged with fierce intention, blind faith and the power to still a savage storm and tame the cruelest conditions. It is available and eager to be discovered during moments of unrest and strain although elusive as the wind it is accessible as one's own thoughts, it is a must have life-saving necessity, a force and matter of self preservation. *Peace is essential to a solid state of mind and best obtained by it's own definition; peacefully and with respect to the precious nature of it's very existence.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

“I arise today
Through the strength of heaven:
Light of sun,
Radiance of moon,
Splendor of fire,
Speed of lightning,
Swiftness of wind,
Depth of sea,
Stability of earth,
Firmness of rock.”

Miracle's

To witness the birth of a child is to experience a culmination of a lot of lives. From a particular form of life that is shed to another form of existence. A resistance to change occurs then natural resolve to move  forward.

The pain, joy, exhilaration and the miraculous nature of it leaves one speechless, spellbound, and humbled as you hear whispers of mystery and wonder.

So much to consider with much responsibility and care involved. We hope a good future awaits along with health, happiness, good beginnings and possibilities. We hope for strength and courage to take on life's challenges and lessons. Live a good life, learn and share, be blessed and bless others, love and be loved.
